Ancho Reyes is a liqueur made form the beloved and unique Chile Ancho, inspired from a 1920's-era recipe, and found in the town of Pueblo de Zaragoza. Influenced by the old world liqueurs that made their way to Mexico, Ancho Reyes is of the earth, evokes a sense of timelessness and is reminiscent of the nostalgic flavors of Mexico.

On the nose, warm dried chili, cinnamon, and cacao. In the mouth, a rich velvet warmth, followed by sweet baking spices and a subtle acidity, finishing with a pleasant lingering smokey heat. 

While as a cocktail ingredient today, the versatility of this liqueur's unique flavor transcends time, season, and geography. Traditionally, Ancho was enjoyed neat.
