What is Bacanora?For all intensive and cultural references, Bacanora is the “mezcal” from the state of Sonora. Located in the northwest region of mainland Mexico, the production of “mezcal” or any other distillate was illegal in the state of Sonora until the year 1992 due to prohibition.
