Bowmore x Aston Martin 22 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The third in the series, Bowmore Aston Martin Master’s Selection 22 Year Old is a celebration of Bowmore’s Master Whisky Blender and Aston Martin’s Chief Creative Officer’s coming together to unite two worlds. Double matured in specially chosen European oak and Oloroso sherry casks, along with the optimal mix of American oak hogsheads, the Islay single malt pays homage to the definitive and constant character of Bowmore. Presented at 51.0% abv. The nose opens with aromas of lemon zest, poached peaches and vanilla which give way to indulgent tones of treacle, toffee, antique oak, roasted chestnuts and soft leather. The palate is rich and intense, with a dominant sherried, nutty character atop notes of chocolate, raisins, red berries and layers of peat smoke, before a long and sweet finish with oak spice and sea salt.
