Description
Cascahuín Extra Añejo Tequila 750ml
it takes a rare extra anejo to impress because many are saturated with oak and heavy barrel flavors that mask the agave. Not so with Cascahuín XA, which is rich and layered with notes of cooked agave, dried fruit, nuts, vanilla and caramel. It is slightly higher proof, at 43% abv, giving it brighter flavors to pair with a holiday meal, or as a standalone after dinner sipper.
This expression was just released in 2018, it’s made by a warm and passionate tequila family, dedicated to doing things right. Their distillery is located in the Tequila Valley, in the town of El Arenal.
Cascahuín XA is aged for 4 years in heavily used American Oak barrels that are about 15 years old and previously used for bourbon.

Realistic flavor
This has a true rich flavor that is great , not overly sweet, just right.

Cascahuin Extra Anejo
At least this seems to have no additives. It will satisfy the purists. You definitely get the agave. It is a little hot from the higher alcohol. Try it.

A Must Have Extra Anejo
If you are/were a bourbon drinker or you really like anejos and extra anejos, then this is a must have for your collection. Cascahuin XA easily makes my top ten must have tequila to buy.

A very pleasant surprise. Touch of a bite that dissipates quickly . A nice addition to my tequila collection.
