Chinaco Anejo Tequila New 700ml

This is an amazing tequila, I was first introduced to it by a doctoral student of mine 30 years ago. He had visited his parents in Mexico City and he brought it back as a gift. At the time there were few premium tequila brands on the market. He told me that it was his father’s favorite tequila and that a decade earlier the only people who could get a bottle were high ranking military officials and politicians. It really spoiled my palate; I find it perfect straight or in a coin-style margarita. I have colleagues who purchase $200 + bottles and every blind testing CHINACO ANEJO, without exception, comes out on top. Because the brand is old and the market is saturated by artsy bottles and overpriced celebrity endorsed brands it has become hard to find. Thanks for stocking it!
