Distilleria Gualco Suavitas Grappa

This is a liqueur prepared using grappa and an infusion of curdled lemon and milk. Bartolomeo Gualco, who created the Suavitas recipe in the 1940s, loved joking around and used to say that it was suitable for girls between four and ninety-four years of age. By this, he did not mean to encourage children to drink alcohol, but rather, he wanted to highlight how delicate the product was, which is well matched to women’s tastes.
