Description
Aging in oak typically makes Mezcal smoother, mellower and darker while integrating the flavors of the oak barrel. Embajador uses new American oak barrels to age their Anejo. The longer the Mezcal has been aging, the more prominent these characteristics are. Embajador ages their standard Anejo for 3 years as usual they spare no expense in creating the finest Mezcal out there. This Anejo is incredible: very smooth and dark with a perfect balance of sweet caramelized Agave, smoke and oak flavors. Anejo Mezcal is not meant to be mixed. Enjoy it on its own and sip it slowly to enjoy its incredible bouquet of flavors. Keep in mind what it took for this incredible 100% Agave Espadin, and certified 100% organic liquor to arrive at your lips. It takes eight years on average for the agave to mature, and 3 years aging in oak barrels after distilling. That is a minimum of 11 years for you to enjoy this mystical ancient spirit. Embajador’s Anejo is made in very small batches, with very limited availability.
