Gran Marquis Extra Anejo Tequila

Gran Marquis Tequila Extra Anejo is 100% Blue Agave produced in Atotonilco el Alto, the Highlands of Jalisco. Aged to perfection in newly charred French oak barrels (Vernou Region Cognac) for 52 months, Gran Marquis Tequila is the first 100% supervised product by the Academia Mexicana del Tequila.

This rare, single barrel, limited edition Tequila is overseen by Master Distiller Don Jesus Martinez, and bottled in a vessel reminiscent of freeblown Dutch Onion bottles of the late 1700’s, perfect for protecting its contents. The crest is reminiscent of early Spanish America which includes Mexican and American motifs depicting the culture and history of Tequila. Each wooden top is engraved with the Lot / Bottle number.

Gran Marquis Tequila pays respect and tribute to more than 400 years of Tequila production, from the 1600's in Nueva Galicia when Don Pedro Sanchez de Tagle, the Marquis od Altamira, first produced Tequila, to today's Jimadores and Maestro Tequileros, that with their dedication and love for the land have passed on this unique art and tradition that truly makes it the Spirit of Mexico gift to the world.
