Description
La Gauloise Liqueur Bicentenaire Verte 700ml
Gauloise Verte is a herbal liqueur which, according to legend, owes its name to the fact that it was created when France was still called "La Gaule".
The recipe for this liqueur was lost until 1783, when distiller and liqueur-maker Edouard Requier found it in an old grimoire.
Master Liquorist Pierre Nouhaud, current president of the Limoges-based distillery Distillerie du Centre, uses angelica, St John's wort, saffron, cardamom, genepi and many other ingredients whose secrets he carefully guards. He then carries out a double distillation over a wood fire, before adding fine eaux-de-vie and sugar syrup. After slow ageing, Gauloise Verte is bottled.
You can enjoy this liqueur on its own, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.

Chartreuse Dupe
A great chartreuse-like drink that’s much more affordable! Similar taste and color, maybe a more muted flavor, but still excellent.
