Lapis Anejo Tequila

This hallmark brand from the Tequileña Distillery is the pride and joy of master distiller Enrique Fonseca, Mexico’s largest highland agave cultivator.

Born and raised in Jalisco’s Atotonilco el Alto, El Arquitecto masterfully crafts Lapis Tequila from agave grown at his hometown’s 5,200′ elevation. These rugged highland growing conditions stress the agave plants, causing them to naturally produce heightened levels of agave sugars from which this aromatic and flavorful spirit is born. The Reposado and Añejo varieties are aged exclusively in French oak for an added complexity that is rich, buttery and full of prominent agave character.

Lapis is one of my favorite tequilas to share with friends. It is smooth and has a delicious aftertaste.

Lapis Añejo is definetly one of the best tequilas out there. Price should be more than what it sells for, you cant feel this going down your throat like most tequilas, it has a very soft rich taste. I wouldnt mix this tequila at all, drink it alone. By far, better than DON JULIO!! dont believe me? Try it... Salud

This is a very smooth tequila with no ‘burn’ when sipping...it is great to keep in freezer

I hadn’t had this in years because i couldn’t find it. It’s one of the best sipping tequila’s EVER. I Finally found it and apparently it is the best because I can’t order any more. Will savor the bottle I have.
