LUNAZUL DOUBLE BARREL REPOSADO TEQUILA

As of october, 2024, pictured was the 2015, rested in wheated whiskey barrels. what was shipped to me was actually 2016's version which was rested in rye whiskey barrels. this was a pleasant suprise, because he rye whiskey barrel rested version from 2016 i thought was better! The rye version seemed dryer and did have a slight hint of rye to the nose and palate. it's very good. five stars for uniqueness at the price point and great quality.

great price point, a friend and i really enjoyed it one night. getting him a bottle now. i hope they do another attempt in the future. i'd put it out with a G4 product or tequila ocho anytime. it is a step above lunazul's normal repo, which is a bit boring and lacking complexity. :-)
