I discovered this are a mezscal tasting in Mexico. It was the high end of middle of the road, but I fell in love with the balanced smoke flavor and the dry finish. It's great in small amounts. Having it at home makes it less of a daily drinker and more of a special occasion drink. The smell on the wrist is dry smoke. The taste is savory, mineral, and herbal. There's a bite at the end of alcohol, but it's otherwise smooth and potent.
