Mezcalistas Agave Explorer Combo

I picked this up as a gift for visiting family who expressed an interest in Mezcal, despite my bit of California being a long way from anywhere that knows much about that. This set was a fun, varied intro. For 5 stars, what it is desperately missing is a description on the sales page telling the novice something about why this is the "Explorer combo". Or anything about why these three were arranged together. To be fair the Mezcalistas website didn't have much to say either.
