As others have said, this extra anejo does not have the interesting complexities in character that you would want in a high quality extra anejo. But given the low price, if you want something smooth and easy to sip, this one fits the bill in a surprising way.

Great price for an extra anejo, This tequila lacks depth, flavor, aroma and full body. It starts with a bite and finishes with a burn. Not good for sipping but in my opinion it's better than herradura seleccion suprema, I'll stick with Additivo and Cava de Orro

This "extra" anejo is not as full bodied as more expensive bottles, but it is great on the rocks and makes an awesome margarita. Definitely worth a try.
