Description
Pale amber color. Sweet aromas of dried tropical fruits, brown spices, suede, and maple nut fudge. A very smooth and supple entry leads to a fruity medium-to-full body of creamy toffee, brown spices, pepper, and leather. Finishes with an elegant praline, mineral, and white pepper fade. A flavorful and smooth liqueur-like añejo for sipping after a fine Latin meal.
36 months aging in French Oak.

San Matias Gran Reserva Extra Anejo
Very good value, spicy and smooth finish.

San Matias Gran Reserva
Very strong barrel taste but not in a bad way but that is unexpected depth for a tequila. Sweetness and lightness to it that did not anticipate from an anejo. Good, very good actually but not great. However, it is something you'd give a newby or recent fan in order to expand their understanding and appreciation for tequila capabilities. Something you SHOULD have in your bar but not the best one on the shelf.

San Matias Gran Reserva Extra Anejo
I feel the quality of this tequila is equal to tequilas that cost four times as much!

Amazing
Drinks like a 100$ tequila. Awesome price for an awesome tequila.

Excellent value XA
At this price point, this is an excellent XA. Complex, easy to drink, and many different wonderful notes highlight this bottle. It's not the first tequila I grab, but definitely a quality bottle for the price.

Sweet, but seemed artificially sweetened
Really wanted to like this one, i shouldnt have expected much with the twist cap on the bottle, haha, upon initial taste it is a sweet agave, but then decends to a artificial flavor. Good shooter if anything.

San Matia's Gran Reserva extra Anejo
Tastes more like Cognac or Brandy with almond like nuttiness
