An amaro from Calabria with a fun history, named after a shipwrecked American captain named Jefferson who became a beloved personality of the small town that took he and his crew into their village. In fact, in Italy, the amaro is called "Jefferson Amaro." However, unfortunately, "Jefferson" is a popular American name attached to businesses that will remain unnamed, but which took issue with this product entering the American market with the name. 

Some of the botanicals include grapefruit, bitter orange peel, lemon, bergamot, vanilla, wormwood, rosemary, oregano, gentian root, rhubarb, eucalyptus. Infused in particular groups at different temperatures according to a secret recipe.
