Volans Old Town Tequila Single Barrel Reposado Tequila 750ml

It's a freshly dumped Basil Hayden Bourbon Barrel. This barrel was a toasted barrel, Char #1.

The cooperage also used a proprietary cold smocking process to infuse hickory smoke into the wood. We didn't really know what to expect from this, but it's extra special and so delicious.

It was filled with Volans Blanco that was a 45% ABV then aged for 4 months and 23 days, with a finished barrel strength of 44% alc. It drinks like an anejo, has a very nice sweetness, the color is a deep amber color, very different from anything Volans, or Pandillo for that matter, has done in the past.
